Sirius adjusted the professor's body to make carrying her more easy. He ran outside and pushed the double doors open, but Artemis was no where in sight. Or he just probably couldn't see her in the thick, falling rain.
"Where can she be?" He wondered out loud, when suddenly, a loud 'crack' filled the air.
He heard it comes from across the field, probably inside the forest.
"Hang on." He told Raine, and ran over underneath the pouring curtains. The rain wasn't as hard as on the field he thought, as they stopped underneath blankets of trees.
"Where did she go?" He asked.

Sighing, she had managed to heal the cut on her face, change her clothes into her favorite torn up muggle jeans and t-shirt saying 'Not a Morning Person' the bold vibrant green lettering contrasting with the dark black background.
Brushing through her hair freshly crimson colored hair, she started the ritual she always used to calm herself down after a panick attack, or a nightmare like this.
Taking in the scent of ivory and cinnimon, she inhaled deeply, closing her eyes taking in the smell of the candles and insense burning. The light in her room dark and dim, except for a small porcelin lamp covered in a red cloth that gave the room a red tint. She walked over to the bed, sitting down on the edge, just relaxing.
Lowering her head into her hands she moaned, "Life sucks."

Guinevere sighed. "Go to her shop," She said. "I think I can walk now," She added. "Art is probably in her shop, in her apartment in the back...doing her little meditation thing," She told Sirius.

Lifting her head, she pulled her legs up onto the bed, and she pulled them up to her chest, wrapping her arms around them she layed her head on the feathered pillow, closing her eyes as the final candle flickered to life.
"Finally," She breathed, "I can forget all about this." The smell started to fill her whole body, it was the scent of the night, the dark, damp, freshly soaked night.
She could feel the terror leaving her has her memory of the past day started to fog.
And us usual, her eyes started to feel heavy as she let the candle take hold of her senses.
Her lids covered her eyes, as she just started to breathe and relax. She started to fall asleep.
She smiled, already feeling the meditation dissolving the days existence from her head.

Sirius nodded, and let Raine down to the ground softly.
"I can't Apparate yet." He said rather dumbly. Realizing how stupid he must have sounded, he quickly explained. "I mean, I know how to, I just don't have a license yet." He muttered.

Guinevere smiled."That's fine, here, holdmy hand," She said, holding out her hand. Once he had, she apparated them both to her sister's shop. She walked through to the back, where Artemis had an apartment. She opened the bedroom door. "Artemis, we need to talk. Tell me now why my head just pratically split open, and why it happened a few times last year too. Tellme right now, and tell me the truth or else I'll find out another way," She said strongly.

Sirius stood by the door, not knowing what he could do. He had come along to fulfill Raine's wishes of retrieving Artemis, but she seemed to have handled just fine.
He couldn't go back yet, though, he couldn't apparate alone. Deciding to just stay there, he watched and waited for Artemis to answer.

She moaned as she heard the door burst open.
She heard someone screaming at her, something about truth, now, another way...but she didn't grasp it.
The meditation spell was well worth the price, she was minutes away from sleep, and the memory being erased.
Releasing her legs, she glared at the intruder, quite annoyed, "Go away," And with that she turned over, facing the other direction. She wasn't even in the mood to punch them, not even a spell...she just wanted it all to fade away, so she could go back to pranking and have flirty, adventerous fun.
"Life most definately sucks," she mumbled to herself, closing her eyes again.

Sirius stifled a laugh as Artemis rolled over and muttered in her sleep. Well, at least he thought she was asleep.

Guinevere sighed in frustration. With a swish of her wrist, all the blankets had flown off her sister's bed. "Artermis Natalie Circe Smithson! Tell me where you were last year...you weren't traveling the world! Now get out of bed and tell me what the hell is going on!" She yelled, for the first time in a very long time.

Cursing loudly, she lazily flipped herself over, and looked at the figure. She soon made her out to be her own twin, and then only grumbled and cursed more. "Um, sorry, can't remember, don't know what your talking about," She mumbled, looking innocently, she flipped back over, shutting her eyes, reaching down and grabbing the blanket that fell on the floor, "Maybe your thinking of someone else."
She was pleading for her sister to drop it and leave her alone.
She couldn't let her know.
Never.
The insense filled her senses, she inhaled deeply letting it consume her and fill her with peace and relaxation.

Guinevere glared. "Circe!! Get up! Now!" She screamed. She only called her sister by her third name if it was really important. She waved her hand and her sister was thrown out of bed. She stood in front of her. "Artemis...what are you not telling us?" She asked, softer this time. "I thought we promised to never lie to each other," She said, her eyes filling with tears. She shook her head, feeling untrusted and betrayed.

Instantly her sleep was disturbed when she found her self shot through the air. Hitting the ground at her sisters feet, she groaned a pain shooting up her arm.
She pulled herself up onto her feet, leaning against the back post of the bed.
She leaned against it as her sister begged her to tell her what was wrong.
And it struck her when tears started to fill her sisters eyes.
She immedietly clenched her eyes shut, and shook her head, "No, don't do that, urg," She cursed, she was strong, witty, and wild, ok, crazy too, but seeing her sister cry hurt her. And it was the one thing she couldn't fully hide.
She pulled herself along the bed post, trying to walk away, "Nothin is wrong Gwen. It's just a wizard, I can handle him. I've done it before i can do it again." She reached the bed side table opposite side of the bed from her sister, and she grabbed hold of the emergency firewhiskey that stayed stashed right ontop of the table. Pulling the cork out with her teeth, and spitting it across the room, she raised the bottle to her lips and began to guzzle it down.
Pulling the bottle from her lips to get some air she added, with a small smug glare, "I'm a big girl Gwen, I can handle a bully."
Are you sure? A suave, silk, disgusting hiss filled her head, followed by an evil seductive cackle.
Her eyes widened, and she immedietly turned away from the both of them shoving the bottle back to her lips letting the whiskey sweep the troubles away.

Artemis might have well have just hit her Guinevere in the stomach with a baseball bat. Her eyes widened, as the tears now fell down her face. "Fine," She said quietly. "Sorry for caring," She added, then apparated before anyone could stop her. He leaned against the wall in her office and slid down so she was sitting against the wall. She hugged her knees to her body as she cried harder.

Drinking the last drop of whiskey she heard her sister stutter, Fine, sorry for caring!
And she felt her sister's presence leave the room.
She hated hurting her, she couldn't live withherself, seeing her sister cry was a guilt wound she would live with for many years to come.
But nomatter what Artemis knew she was doing the right thing.
She couldn't involve her sister. Nomatter how much Gwen wanted to know, no matter how much she or anybody wanted to help, they couldn't.
If they knew it would only give him another thing to hold against her. Another thing to use to control her.
If she knew, if anybody knew..., "Well, they don't know. And they can't know." She muttered aloud to herself, staring through the open window of her room.
Blinking, her daze broke, and she turned around, ready to just fall back into bed, "I can handle him on my own."
Only then did she realize, looking up at the doorway of her room, that somebody was still there.
Sirius Black.
The boy she had seen...um...
She struggled for a moment to remember him, she was sure she knew him.
But even when she realized where she knew him from, it didn't change her stance.
How long had he been standing there? How did he get there? What did he hear?
"How long have you been standing there?" She muttered cautiously, her body stiff and still.
