It was lunch time, so naturally Bellatrix was not sat at the Slytherin table eating her lunch, while entertaining herself with other's jokes. Though neither was she at the library catching up on homework, never was she anyway, or in the Slytherin common room getting the place to herself without being bothered by some of her oh so wonderful peers. No she currently found herself laying at one of the semi-highest points of the school; The Empty Classroom. It was one of places in which she could find an escape, and what a beautiful place of escape it was, you could see for acres over the countryside that surrounded the school whilst even on the seventh floor of the school. Or you could look below over the school lawns, and over to the lake where some of the students could been found frocking about trying to push each other into the water, or skipping stones, or playing with giant squid's tentacles. All in all in was quite a nice place to stand and watch the world go by, but Bella was not even doing this.
The girl was laid flat on her belly reading her Herbology text-book. Now, it was not the nicest place to study the subject, but then it was neither nice to study it in the common room, or library. What with all the disapproving looks from the Slytherin's, and the annoying comments she received from her friends. Failing was not a thing she fancied much.. Even if class marks were involved. So she preferred to studying as far away from them all as she could. Sometimes it would be a spot beside the courtyard, or in a deserted classroom on the fifth floor, or sometimes she stooped to studying in the forest. Being full of plants and certain things, she found it to be a rather good study guide. But today she had opted for some sun, so she climbed to the highest tower, and lay herself out, and began to read.
After reading for about half and hour, she could feel her stomach growing rather numb, and her arms beginning to ache from propping her head her so long. So without a second thought she loosened her arms, and rolled over onto her back. And with her head rested on her book, she looked up to the sky. It was a typical spring's afternoon, the sky was a light blue with little clouds floating about, and the sun was high in the sky warming the people below with it rays. All in all it warmed made Bella feel a slight bit content, as a small smirk appeared on her face.
With the small shove of her elbows, Bellatrix sat up now, and brushed a piece of long ebony hair from her eyes. Slowly and steadily, she lifted herself up and made her way to the window. And with her elbows resting on the stony edge of the tower, young female gazed down at the lawns. A few birds sat happily in a tree beside the lake, and a few fourth year boys were practicing their flying out on the Quidditch Pitch. The temperature wasn't high, nor was it low. It was perfect. A light breeze caught under her Slytherin Robes and worked its way up and through her long dark locks.
What a day, Bella thought to herself, quite bored with her life. A noise behind her startled her, making her turn around with a flick of her head. Her eyes landed on a figure standing in the doorway leading down to the castle. It was strange to see another person up here at lunch time.

Severus walked into the classroom hoping that no one would be there. He wanted to try some things with the potions he took from the potions classroom. He almost dropped one of the potions when he seen that Bella was in the room. So he tried his best to not make a noise so he could leave the room but that didn't seem to work for he had dropped a viel and it shatter all over the floor. He looked up quickly to see hat Bella was now looking at him.
Bloody hell

Seeing the now shattered pieces of glass that glistened in the sunlight, Bellatrix could only shake her head in shame for the boy. It always seemed that he was messing things up some how or another.. Whether it be screwing himself over, or someone else. Either way, Severus could have nothing more than the title of a basic klutz or a mere fool. Most people seemed to look down upon him and some would gladly see him leave.. Though somehow he managed to survive? How? Bellatrix figured it was his “hiding” spot in the dungeons or something close to the sort.. Either that or he was a brilliant beggar for his so called happiness. Bella would indeed classify herself in the group of people who disliked the poor boy.. And she took pride in that title.
A scoff came from her lips, and a roll of her eyes showed impertinence to him. “Shouldn’t you be in the dungeons?” She asked placing a hand on her hip, “Hovering over your little cauldron, creating foolish little potions to try and up your reputation by showing that you are partially good at something. Yet, only after hours of laboring, you find that you really are as dim-witted as everyone claims you to be.”
It was always a pleasure to put Severus down as much as possible.. Whether it be mentally, physically, or magically. Of course, being in the seclusion of only the Empty Classroom, the fun was decreased a small bit due to the lack of others to seeing the humiliation. However, for Bellatrix’s own amusement.. She couldn’t care if people saw or not.. At least she got her entertainment.

Bellatrix let out a soft chuckle. Severus gave up so easily, he did. It was an unmistakable thing that most people knew about him. Yet another reason why people enjoyed trampling all over him as if he were to be a door mat, and found him to be an easy target. Sure, he had the Slytherin title as well. But he didn’t deserve it.. If anything, she’d have more chance of seeing him chatting with a group of Hufflepuffs to try and fit in, than actually see him being accepted as a true Slytherin.. This of course only brought more shame to his name.
“Ahh..” Bellatrix said, with a light smirk, “Is the ickle baby boy afraid that I might actually mess up his little potion? Or is he merely afraid to be around me? Or… Could it possibly be… Both?” She said these words loudly and boldly.. He would have heard her even if he had been halfway down the corridor.. But, he surely wasn’t that far yet. She knew well that this would probably get under his skin a bit.. If not a lot. She was near positive that it would make him at least try to stand for his own.
That was another thing Bellatrix found hilarious.. When Severus truly attempted to fight back. She had yet to see a time when he overcame the other without someone saying it was time to stop, or someone helping him. Sure, he could possibly defend himself if he tried hard enough.. But he had still lacked the proof.
