Sirius sat lazily on a window, his right leg dangling outside of it and his left curled up against his chest. He had been feeling extremely bored these past few days, not having seen any of his friends or Cecily. He would most likely hang out with Artemis at times like these, but she was the owner of a store in Hogsmeade--he would feel terrible if he kept her away from her job. He sighed, hoping that someone, anyone, would part him from the terrible loneliness he felt. He would even be grateful is ol' Snivellus dueled with him. Anything to keep himself busy. Walking down the corridor, she was working on a sketch, a sketch of James Potter. He had been in the library, pretending to study(she could tell because his potions book had been upside down), and she found it interesting and a good sketch.
She was down with most of it, she was only working on the shading and finer details.
But as she was walking she tripped over her own feet, and her sketch book and pencil went flying.
She fell onto the floor, her hands breaking her fall, but it sent a jolt up her arms, but she was clumsy, and used to this.
Picking herself up, she sat on her knees, which had a few scratches on them, as well as her hands where a previous cut split open and started bleeding, "Merlin."

Sirius was was about to give up and head somewhere else to find something to do, when a loud thump disrupted his plans.
He spotted a girl, one who looked oddly familiar, and hurried over as she picked herself up. Being the gentleman, of course, there was no way he would ignore the current situation.
"Are you ok?" He asked softly, offering a hand to help her stand.
He glanced over at the bleeding wound, "Do you need me to take you to the Hospital Wing?" He asked, wondering how she had cut herself. For all he knew, falling against stone wouldn't cause an injury like that.

Looking up her face turned red, there was Sirius Black. she had seen him walking around with James, those guys were always very kind...to her.
She took his hand and pulled herself up onto her feet, shakey for a moment, but then she was stabalized.
She wiped the blood on her dark skirt, and shook her head, "N-no, I'm fine..." The cut she had recieved earlier that day from helping in Herbology, it was now bleeding again, it had been clear across her palm, but she hoped it would stop soon.
Her eyes traveled to her sketch book, the picture of James and the upside down book lying ontop, a picture of Sirius sprawled out beside it, having been ripped from the book as it hit the ground, causing her face to heat up more.

"N-no, I'm fine..."
Sirius raised an eyebrow as if asking if she was sure, but instead bent down to pick up her books. He noticed quite an impressive sketch of Prongs on her sketchbook, along with a neatly drawn picture of himself. He picked both up, along the pencil, and was slightly irritated, but smiling all the same.
"You draw really well. You've taken classes?" He asked, making conversation.
Girls usually did keep pictures of himself, Remus, and James quite often, though it was quite stalkerish. As much as Sirius liked the attention, if was spooky as well.

Shaking her head, she gently took the book from his hands muttering a thanks.
Standing up, she looked down at him, immediately feeling a need to explain herself, her words coming out fast and panicked, "I just really like drawing. Nature mostly, lakes, the forest, creatures...I don't usually draw people, but sometimes i spot someone in a good candid light. It looks so perfect, so timeless, so beautiful that i just feel the urge to draw them. I'm not a stalker I swear. I don't follow people around, I just really like to draw." People never saw her drawings, they never talked to her. She was a loner, ever since her thirteenth birthday she kept to herself. After her parents murder she rarely talked with anyone. She just loved art and drawing, it was another part of her. A way to express what her lips and mind could not.
She nodded, muttering another thanks, before then mumbling a sorry, and pushing past him, hugging the sketchbook close to her chest, her face heating up with embarresment.

"Oi--Hey, HEY!" He followed after 3 milliseconds of shock. "I just---er...I guess I'm at fault too," he mumbled, "I didn't mean to...well, yeah," he caught up with her. "What's your name? Er--I'm Sirius."

She didn't know what to say, about his apology, "Celeste" She muttered, holding her sketchbook closer to her body, "I'm not a stalker Sirius, I promise." She was still worried about that, she didn't care much of what people thought of her, but what these nice guys, these marauders thought of her, she did. She wasn't a bad person, just a girl with a bad past. One she wished she could forget.

"I know, sorry about that..." He muttered, scratching the back of his head. "It's just that I get that alot," he said. "Kinda gets annoying after a while," he explained. He shoved his hands in his pocket. "So, what are you doing now?" He asked.

She hesitated, she was running from the usual bullies, Robbie and his gang always loved to beat up on her, that's why she always stayed behind in herbology hoping to get away from them. But she didn't need to tell Sirius this.
"I was just helping in herbology," It wasn't a lie, Celeste never lied. With what very little she said it never came out a lie, she just kept secrets. Her past shook her up to much, took a lot for her to trust somebody, but she rarely gave anyone the chance, she was usually so quiet and such a longer, keeping herself from everyone, nobody wanted to talk to her, nobody wanted to get to know her. So why was Sirius still here?

"Oh. That's one of my worst subjects ever," Sirius grinned, "apart from Divination, of course."
He noted the Ravenclaw House Crest on her robes, and tilted his head sideways. "What year are you in? I've never seen you in any of my classes," he said. Though something about her was quite familiar..he couldn't quite grasp the memory of ever meeting her.

She kept her eyes at her feet, "6th year, I'm a 6th year...I usually only take the early classes and the late ones..." Glancing up at Sirius "Bullies usually aren't around then..." Then she looked back down at the ground, "You?"

"Ah, no wonder. I'm a fifth year, so it's natural we don't have any classes together," he grinned. He blinked and looked at her. "Bullies? What bullies?"

Sighing, she thought about the fact that she should've kept that information to herself. "Just some slytherins, it's nothing really..." Her ankle still ached from their attack yesterday. If she was lucky, maybe standing next to Sirius would keep them from attacking her again.

Sirius scowled, apparently not pleased by this. "Should've known. Hey, if any of those gits start bothering you again, don't hesitate in telling me," he said, clasping a hand on Celeste's shoulder, "I'll beat the snot out of them any day," he said, removing his hand with a smile.
"So where are you headed now? If you've got nothing to do, we could hang out," he grinned. He rarely got the chance to make new friends, but whenever he did, he wouldn't miss out the opportunity.
