Sirius clutched his winter cloak more tightly around him to keep warmth. Despite the fact that the sun was out, and it wasn't snowing, it was still freezing.
He hid underneath a large sign, next to a fire that was made to warm up the passerby. He stood there quietly, deciding to which store he should go next.
He looked up and down the streets, trying to find someone he could recognize to join him for a nice, warm, hot cup of tea.

Tom had just exited Knocturn alley with some of his fellow slytherins. He turned to Monique Wyman, a fourth year girl who'd taken to following him around like a servent lately and dropped his parcels in her arms. She staggered under the weight as he heartlessly told her to being them back to school and place them in his dorm room. She took no notice of his barking orders and flushed with pleasure at the fact he was asking her to do something before scampering away.
Then he noticed Black under a sign a little ways ahead. His lip curling into a sneer he dismissed the other slytherins and made his way over with a sweep of his bat like slytherin green cloak. "Potter and the bird not out with you today? How about the worm or wolf?"

Sirius face twisted into a disgusted expression as Riddle approached and asked him where his mates were. He instinctively slipped his right hand into his pocket, where his wand lay. He was always cautious and careful ev'rytime a Slytherin chose to be near him or his friends, even at home he would beware of his brother and visiting cousins.
"Why ask? As far as I know it's not any of your concern." Sirius sneered.
Maybe if he was just evil and dark-hearted, he would make the perfect Black. After all, he could be a bastard when he wanted. But Sirius chose to be a good boy.
